Symptoms:
Redness of the palate, foul mouth odor, swelling as well as bleeding might be apparent.

Complications:
Hyperplasic tissue (excessive swelling) may develop and denture may not fit anymore.

Treatments:
The dentist can recommend the use of anti-fungal mouthwash.

Prevention:
An immaculate hygiene of the dentures is crucial. The prosthetic should be cleaned and brushed following every meal. The remainder of the teeth should be regularly brushed and we recommend the use of a mouthwash;
Dentures should not be worn during the night. As they need to be soaked in an antiseptic solution.
